Debts FAQ
- How much can I consolidate for?
This will depend upon the valuation of your property.
In some circumstances this can be for as much as 125%
of the valuation.
- What if some of my loans are secured?
As long as you have sufficient equity in your property
there will not be a problem. The new mortgage lender
will take over your current mortgage and secured loan
at the same time.
- Can I consolidate all of my financial commitments?
Yes - as long as you have sufficient equity in your property.
- If I remortgage, how will all the loans
and credit cards be paid?
The new lender will arrange for your current mortgage to be paid off
(redeemed) and will then usually issue you with a cheque for the extra
money you are borrowing so that you can arrange direct with all the
various companies how they are to be repaid.
